Competition Format
League Phase
All clubs compete in a round-robin league. Three points for a win, one for a draw.
Playoff Semi-Finals
The top 4 teams from the league phase advance to playoff semi-finals.
Cup Final
Semi-final winners compete for the Belfast INTERCity trophy. Match played in front of a live audience.
Rules & Regulations
Player Eligibility
Open to male players aged 16 and over. Players must be registered to a participating club prior to the competition start date.
Squad Registration
Clubs may register up to 12 players. Squads can be amended between the league phase and playoffs.
Match Duration
League matches: 2 × 20 minutes. Playoffs and final: 2 × 25 minutes with rolling substitutions.
Futsal Rules
FIFA Futsal Laws of the Game apply throughout. Accumulated fouls rule is in effect from the 6th foul per half.
